• Green packages formats: new pack types based on cardboard, realized to support FMCG players in the Plastic to Paper transition. 

• Sustainability Lab: a project that explores new packaging solutions as mono-material or paper-based material. The Lab is attracting the attention of some of the most important producers in the world of packaging materials and clients. The goal is to verify the behavior and machinability of new generation materials, both for flowpack and for wrapping technologies, with particular attention to those where the twisting can create critical issues.

• Machine Life Cycle Assessment (LCA):  Life Cycle Assessment or LCA is a methodology for assessing environmental impacts associated with all the stages of the life cycle of a product. In particular, environmental impacts are assessed from raw material extraction and processing (cradle), through the product's manufacture, distribution and use, to the recycling or final disposal of the materials composing it (grave).

  ACMA is the first Company in its industry to carry out an assessment of the entire life cycle (LCA) of its machines to verify their environmental impact from cradle to grave.
