INTECMA has more than 30 years of experience in the design and development of form, fill and seal machines for cups in the lower capacity range. 

The tools of the ZERO Technology series are the result of years of research and development. They can be applied to all tools contained in a form, fill and seal machine. Using longer maintenance intervals reduces maintenance costs, increases the performance of the machine and, thanks to the special technology, the tools have a longer life cycle.

By using the tools from ZERO Technology, a quick changeover from PS (Polysterene) to more recyclable materials such as PET, PP and PLA can be realised.

E.g. with the innovative cutting tools, end users can handle the multipacks as with PS multipacks and simply break them into individual cups. Since breaking into individual cups has not yet been possible, the switch from PS to PET, PP and PLA has not yet been implemented. Only with these new cutting tools from INTECMA multipacks made from these materials can be broken as easily as multipacks made from PS.

ZERO Technology offers you an innovative solution on your way to using more sustainable packaging material in your existing form, filling and sealing machine or in new machines. 

ZERO Technology cannot only be integrated in FFS machines from IMA DAIRY & FOOD. The tools can also be installed on machines from other suppliers.

With the patented tools of the ZERO Technology range IMA DAIRY & FOOD offers the perfect solution for the use of mono-materials such as PET, PP and PLA which are perfectly adaptable to the FFS machines of the brands Erca, Hassia, and Intecma. The focus is on the patented and therefore unique punch for PET, PP and PLA. This punch is the technical solution for high-quality cutting and precutting of PET, PP and PLA and thus enabling easy breakable multipacks made of these materials. Using transparent PET allows consumers to see the product, which makes it more attractive on the shelf. The cup can get a PET lid and label, making the packaging completely recyclable. Further equipment in the ZERO Technology range include special pre-heating plates, which can be easily dismantled and enable simple maintenance. Further material savings can also be realised by using the special thermoforming moulds, which enable the use of thinner materials. Thanks to ZERO Technology maintenance costs are reduced and the performance and service life of the tools are increased many times over compared to existing tools in the market place.
